Madeline Tesch ::   Sophomore Engineering Honors student majoring in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M and as of last year, a national finalist in Nasa’s Gateway to Blue Skies competition.

Madeline is the TAMU NASA team lead and helped propel the group to be one of the only 8 teams to have the prestigious opportunity to compete at the finalist forum at Glenn Research Center Summer 2023. The project title is Nuclear Aviation. Madeline will be presenting NASA’s Clean Energy Aviation competition.

Presentation description: Madelines NASA team competed in the national NASA competition Gateway to Blue Skies to find new and clean ways of air travel. They won their division for nuclear aviation and advanced and traveled to NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio where they won multiple team-member awards. They began researching in Spring 2023.

About Madeline: Madeline intends to go into research and development later in her career and is pursuing her education with this goal in mind. Madeline takes joy in photography and currently works as a photographer for Texas A&M’s school newspaper, The Battalion. Currently, she is involved In the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, AIChE, as well as Aggies Create.
