Dave Jones :: AI State of the Nation – featuring ChatGPT

ChatGPT is an exciting new machine learning (ML) technology from OpenAI available to the general public. It has provoked both much controversy and much praise.
Dave Jones will demonstrate ChatGPT, briefly describe how ChatGPT (and many ML systems) work and then discuss implications for commerce and for society in general.

Dave Jones has thirty years of professional experience in programming, software design, software project management and general consulting. He presently works at Knowledge Based Systems — a consulting firm headquartered in College Station, Texas.

He is an active member of the Software Developers’ Cartel and a frequent presenter at Software Developers’ Cartel meetups.
